It takes less than a minute to get scanned with ShapeScale. The device uses a robotic arm and a 3D camera to capture the shape and composition of the body from multiple angles. The scan is then processed and uploaded to the cloud, where it can be accessed through the ShapeScale app. In total, new scans are usually accessible within ten minutes.
