Creating accounts on behalf of clients (Only available with ShapeScale for Business)Updated 6 months ago

We have just launched our "managed accounts", which allows business users to create accounts for their clients. This is the easiest way to get a client set up, and it will allow you to view and manage their data from your business account. Follow these steps to create a ShapeScale account on your clients' behalf:

  1. Head into your business account.
  2. In the "Clients" tab, select "New Client" in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap "Create"
  4. The app will ask you if you want to share the account with the client. Select your preferred option based on the explanations below:
    • Sharing the account will allow the client to access this account and the scans from their own iOS device (iPhone or iPad). They will receive an email invite to download the ShapeScale app and create their login credentials.
    • If you don't share the account, their data will only be accessible from your Client list in your business account.
  5. Enter the client's first name, last name, and email address.
  6. Tap "Next". This will create the managed account.
  7. You can then choose to take the client's first scan now, or later. If you choose to perform the scan later, remember to add the client's demographic information to their profile.

If you want your client's account to be private due to HIPAA concerns, they will need to create their own private client account.
