Your recovery QR code is required when you attempt to log into your account from an unrecognised device. You can think of this as the equivalent of a 2-factor authentication for your ShapeScale account. This key can be found in the verification email that was sent to your inbox when you signed up to the app - the subject line is “Welcome to ShapeScale”.

Alternatively, if you have access to your account on the original iOS device, you can find it under “Menu” > “Settings” > “Account & Security” > “Show Account Key”.
